These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ember TV, a film rental and streaming platform operated by Regent Media Group, LLC.
By creating an account or using Ember TV, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to create an account or use Ember TV.
2. Account Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us of any unauthorized access
- Not allow others to use your account
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
3. Rentals & Access Window
- Films on Ember TV are available for rental only, not purchase.
- Each rental provides 48-hour access from the time of successful payment.
- After 48 hours, access expires automatically.
- To watch again, you must rent the film again.
4. Public Screening Licenses
A Public Screening License lets a parish, school, ministry, business or other group show a film to an audience. These terms apply to every screening license, including custom and special licenses, in addition to the rest of these Terms.
What the license allows
- One public showing of the licensed film, on the screening date and at the venue entered when booking, to an audience no larger than the licensed size.
- Screenings in the United States, unless we agree otherwise in writing for a particular license.
- Charging admission, selling tickets, taking donations or selling concessions. We encourage groups to use a screening to cover the license fee and raise money for their parish, school or ministry. Please tell us when booking. You keep what you raise, and you are responsible for any taxes, permits or rules that apply to your fundraising (for example raffle rules or your diocese's policies).
- Promoting the screening with the film's title, poster art, description and trailer as shown on Ember TV, without altering them or suggesting the filmmakers endorse your event.
How the film is shown
- The film streams through Ember TV, on our website or the Ember TV apps for Apple TV, Roku and Fire TV, signed in to the account that bought the license. It cannot be downloaded.
- The film can be played all day the day before the screening (for a test run), the screening day and the day after, in the venue's time zone. Access ends automatically after that.
- The film must be shown in full and unaltered, including its credits.
- You are responsible for your equipment, internet connection and venue. We recommend a test in the room the day before.
What the license does not allow
- More than one showing, a different date or venue, or a larger audience than licensed. Each additional showing needs its own license.
- Recording, copying or screen-capturing the film, or showing excerpts outside the screening.
- Livestreaming or broadcasting the film online, by video call or to any audience outside the venue.
- Transferring or reselling the license to another person or group.
Audience size and changes
- Count everyone who attends, including volunteers. If more people may come than your license covers, contact us before the screening to upgrade it; you pay the difference between the two sizes.
- If more people attended than your license covered, contact us after the event and we will upgrade it for the difference.
- To change the date or venue, contact us before the access window opens. We will do our best to help but cannot guarantee a change.
- Audiences above our largest size need a custom license. Custom and special licenses are quoted by us and billed by invoice; they become active once the invoice is paid.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel for a full refund until the access window opens (the day before your screening date). After that the license fee is non-refundable.
- If a problem on our side stops the film playing during your access window, contact us and we will reschedule your screening at no cost or refund the license fee.
Your license certificate
After payment you receive a license certificate, also available under My Rentals. Keep it for your records; it shows the film, date, venue and licensed audience size.
We may end a license, without refund, if these terms are broken, for example by recording or livestreaming the film.

- We do not store any payment card information.
- Prices are displayed before checkout.
- Taxes may apply depending on your location.
- All rental transactions are final unless otherwise required by law.

- You may not download, copy, screen-record, or redistribute any film content.
